FMLTWIA

Revision is, thankfully, going pretty well. I cannot state whether the hours spent revising and writing notes will actually have sunk in properly into my sponge of a brain, but we can hope. I've been in Bangor Library for a good few hours every day this week, bar yesterday. It is pretty self rewwarding walking out of there with about 12 to 16 pages written out each day. It is like a good, positive cycle: Because I realise I am working hard and producing proper notes and making things worthwhile, I treat myself (often with a 789 sandwich - Bacon, cheese, lettuce, red onions and a lashing of BBQ sauce) then I know I have to work more and more so just keep plugging away. I think it is safe to say this is the first time that I have properly officially revised! GCSEs/AS Levels/A Levels were all a sham. Fair enough I just scraped by to get into Uni to do the course I wanted, but still, actually getting my arse into gear and revising is very rewarding.

I have completed running through all the lectures, bar the last 2 or 3 of GGY1005 (Human Geography module) which I'll work on either tonight or tomorrow's library sesh. I'll chill over the weekend with a spot of revision on Sunday. I'm going to head back up to Belfast on Mondya morning which will mean an awfully early start - I have a Philosophy exam at 9:30 that morning. I genuinely have no clue what to do for this exam and really can see myself walking out early. I'll give it a good go, but I really cannot see myself passing. Strangely enough though, I am not that worried - Which is worrying in itself. Anywho, if I fail, I fail. I'll resubmit essay or something and see what I can do. Cannot wait until next academic year so I can do 3 modules of GEOGRAPHY, not some other random bullshit. I am here to do a Geography degree after all.

In this week that I have been back down in Bangor, I really have not been doing an awful lot apart from revising, eating and watching movies or 24. Man, 24 is awesome. One random night up in Belfast house when Andy was staying over I decided to just download a few episodes, see how it goes - Season 1 this is - and maybe continue watching. It is safe to say, I'm proper hooked. It's quite hilarious watching them use all of the old technology, with big massive mobile phones and shitty looking laptops. Figured it would be best to start from the start and then hopefully work up to the current series...Series 7 I think. That shall occupy a large chunk of my summer!

On the gaming front, I completed Mass Effect about a week and a bit ago, maybe I mentioned that before, can't really remember. But yeah, brilliant, brilliatn game. thoroughly enjoyed the main story line. I think I'll go back and work away at the extra missions for the craic. Cannot wait for ME2. Might try and get a hold of the DLC for ME1, apparently it's rather good. Seeing that I've completed that, I have moved on to Bioshock. Pre-Xbox Profile failure I had about a month ago, I had been doing pretty well with the game. Progressed quite far, but then forgot about it for a while and never looked at it for quite some time. So I figured it would be time to pick it back up and give it a good playing - See it to the end. So far, so fucking awesome.

Oh and I am thinking of starting up WoW again for the summer...

Good idea? Yes or no? Meh. I shan't pay for gaming time, but I think in about a week or so I can get that Scroll of Resurrecion thingy, so might as well use that. Would be good craic to start playing with Foster and Boydo again.

Anywho, dinner is nearly ready and I am fucking starved - That seems to be a problem of mine, not eating enough...Very strange of me.

Anywho, cheers,

Matt.
